SPECIAL TIMBER

Delivering special timber and materials of special dimensions and lengths is a long standing tradition at Frønningen.

10 years ago, timber from approx. 250 year old trees was delivered for the restoration of the ‘støpull’ (free-standing belfry) of the Borgund Stave Church in Lærdal. In 2016/2017 an order of ROTKNÆR (special material) was delivered to Bergen Municipality, for use of restoring the ‘Dramshus’ at the Hanseatic Museum at Bryggen. The building is apparently open for visitors during restoration.

If you are looking for unique timber, you are welcome to Frønningen to have a look!
